With Nestlé BEBA Initial Milk 1, you are taking care of your baby's age-appropriate nutrition. It is well suited for supplemental feeding or as a sole food when not breastfeeding. When preparing infant formula, pay close attention to the instructions for use. Improper preparation and storage can lead to adverse health effects due to growth of undesirable germs. Prepare food fresh before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean bottle, nipple and ring thoroughly and boil for 5 minutes. Do not heat infant formula in the microwave (risk of scalding).
Preparation:
- Wash hands thoroughly. Boil fresh drinking water for five minutes and cool to 40°C.
- Pour 2/3 of the required amount of water into the bottle.
- Measure out the required amount of powder with the measuring spoon provided and add it. Please do not use heaped measuring spoons.
- Close the bottle and shake well.
- Add remaining water and shake well.
- Check bottle contents for drinking temperature (approx. 37°C).
A measuring spoon is included in each package.
DRINKING QUANTITY AND DOSAGE: Drinking quantity per bottle may vary from individual to individual. The recommended drinking amount and number of bottles are guidelines. After the 4th month, you can start feeding jars and porridges in consultation with the pediatrician. One bottle should be omitted with each complementary food meal.
