Follow directions exactly when preparing. Improper preparation or storage over a long period of time can lead to adverse health effects, such as the growth of undesirable germs. Therefore, prepare food freshly before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Close the opened bag tightly, store in a dry place at room temperature and use within 3 weeks. Do not heat food in the microwave (risk of scalding).
(1) Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°-50°C.
(2) Pour desired amount of boiled water (see below) into a bottle.
(3) Measure the recommended amount of powder (see below). Fill measuring spoon loosely and wipe off. Add the powder to the water.
(4) Close bottle and shake vigorously several times.
(5) Cool to drinking temperature approx. 37°C. Check temperature, e.g. with HiPP thermometer.
Drinking quantity and dosage:
Drinking amount per vial may vary individually. Recommended amounts and number of bottles per day are guidelines. Your baby does not necessarily have to drink the bottle empty. Please use only the enclosed measuring spoon! One measuring spoon corresponds to 30ml of water.
- Age: 1st-2nd week*, 7-8 bottle meals per day, 60ml boiled water + 2 scoops powder = 70ml ready-to-drink food.
- Age: 3rd-4th week, 5-7 bottle meals per day, 90 ml boiled water + 3 scoops of powder = 100 ml ready-to-drink food.
- Age: 5-8 weeks, 5-6 bottle feeds per day, 120 ml boiled water + 4 scoops of powder = 135 ml ready-to-drink food.
- Age: 3-4 months, 5 bottle feeds per day, 150 ml boiled water + 5 scoops powder = 170 ml ready-to-drink Food
- Age: 5 months**, 4-5 bottle meals per day, 180 ml boiled water + 6 scoops of powder = 200 ml ready-to-drink Food
- Age: 6 months and older, 4 bottle feeds per day, 210 ml boiled water + 7 scoops powder = 235 ml ready-to-drink food.
