Follow the instructions for use exactly during preparation. Improper preparation or storage over a longer period of time can lead to adverse health effects, e.g. due to the growth of undesirable germs. Therefore, prepare food freshly before each meal and feed immediately. Do not reuse leftover food. Clean the bottle, teat and ring thoroughly. Do not heat food in the microwave (risk of scalding).
1) Boil fresh drinking water and cool to approx. 40°- 50°C*.
2) Pour desired amount of boiled water (see below) into a bottle.
3) Measure the recommended amount of powder (see below). Fill measuring spoon loosely and wipe off. Add the powder to the water.
4) Close the bottle and shake vigorously several times.
5) Cool to drinking temperature approx. 37°C. Check temperature, e.g. with HiPP thermometer.
*To avoid damaging the natural lactic acid cultures (lactobacilli), please do not prepare food with water that is too hot.
Drinking amount and dosage: Drinking amount per bottle may vary individually. Recommended amounts and number of bottles per day are guidelines. Your baby does not necessarily have to drink the entire bottle. Please use only the enclosed measuring spoon! For one measuring spoon of powder you need 30 ml of water.
- 1st-2nd week* (age) 7-8 bottle meals per day 60 ml boiled water + 2 scoops of powder = 70 ml ready-to-drink food.
- 3rd-4th week (age) 5-7 bottle meals per day 90 ml boiled water + 3 scoops powder = 100 ml ready-to-drink food
- 5-8 weeks (age) 5-6 bottle feeds per day 120 ml boiled water + 4 scoops powder = 135 ml ready-to-drink food
- 3rd-4th month (age) 5 bottle meals per day 150 ml boiled water + 5 scoops powder = 170 ml ready-to-drink food
- 5th month** (age) 4-5 bottle meals per day 180 ml boiled water + 6 scoops of powder = 200 ml ready-to-drink food
- from 6 months (age) 4 bottle feeds per day 210 ml boiled water + 7 scoops powder = 235 ml ready-to-drink food
